The Roiupalu nature trail is 3.2 km long and offers views of the Ahja River and sandstone outcrops. It runs through the Ahja jõe ürgoru maastikukaitseala landscape conservation area. The Valgesoo nature trail is a 1.8 km circular route around the Valgesoo bog. Of this, 1.6 km consists of a boardwalk; there is an observation tower next to the car park.

The history of the manor includes the watermill of Kiidjärve Manor. It was built in 1914 and was one of Estonia's larger watermills.
