The Tõrva Kirik-Kammersaal is located in a former Orthodox church built between 1903 and 1905 and converted after wartime damage by December 1990. On average, 15–20 exhibitions and 35–40 concerts take place there each year. The natural Lake Vanamõisa lies on the northern edge of the town. In the centre, Tõrva Central Square leads from the historic inn building to Tõrva Town Hall and from there onward to Lake Veskijärv.

Around Tõrva Veemõnula, well-maintained disc golf, ski, walking and cycling trails run through a beautiful pine forest. Together with the Health Trails, these offer various options for planning your day: you can choose a quiet walk, get around by bicycle or use ski tracks of varying lengths in winter. The options mentioned are also suitable as different focal points for a trip with several people if not everyone prefers the same daily rhythm.
