The Võhma Days have been held since 1997. Together with the Kesk-Eesti laat fair, they form a three-day event featuring culture, sports, market activities, music, and activities for the whole family. The Võhma Days programme also includes the traditional folk strength competition "Võhma Vägilane".

The renovated Võhma Cultural Centre opened at Christmas in 1998. The Võhma Museum Room is located at Tallinna 15 in Võhma. For families, Võhma Playland offers, among other things, roller skating, a two-storey indoor climbing area with slides and a ball pit, as well as a large trampoline with an obstacle course.

Võhma's history is closely connected with the railway. After the Mõisaküla–Viljandi–Tallinn railway line was completed in 1900, a settlement developed near a railway station in the area of Võhma village. It soon grew into an important railway junction and a workers' settlement in northern Viljandimaa. The Tallinn–Lelle–Viljandi railway line, which runs in a north–south direction, and the Tallinn–Viljandi road also pass through Võhma.

For a cultural visit, Võhma Valgusevabrik is one of the notable places to visit. A guided tour there also includes a visit to the artists' studio, where wedding candles are carefully decorated. The Võhma Cultural Centre complements this focus. The building's hall had 343 seats, also highlighting the centre's role as an event venue.

Võhma Playland brings together several indoor activities: in addition to roller skating, there is a two-storey climbing area with slides and a ball pit, as well as a large trampoline with an obstacle course.
