Count Gábor Patachich, Archbishop of Kalocsa, had the Baroque castle and its outbuildings built in 1739–1740. In the 18th century, it served as an archiepiscopal hunting lodge, later as an orphanage, and then as a children’s home. Today, it houses permanent and temporary exhibitions. Guided tours are available on request, and the exhibitions offer an opportunity to explore both the building’s history and changing themes.

The German Nationalities Tájház offers a different perspective on the town’s history. Folk-art objects, clothing, vessels, furnishings, and tools illustrate the life of the Swabian community at the beginning of the 20th century. The church adds another historical dimension: Pope Pius VI declared it a pilgrimage church in 1794 at the initiative of Archbishop Count László Kolonics. The parish house was built in the 18th century in the Zopf style and bears an archiepiscopal coat of arms. Together, these places reveal religious, representative, and everyday aspects of Hajós’ history.

Hajósi Pincefalu is located near Hajós. More than 1,200 press houses and wine cellars were dug by hand into the loess soil; Hajós wines mature in the cellars. The complex is therefore not only a place for storing wine, but also a distinctive historical ensemble. The oldest surviving press house was built in 1840 and belongs to the town.
