Lillafüred

The Lillafüredi Tanösvény follows a set route: it starts at the Lillafüredi Szent Anna Cave and ends at the Lillafüredi Libegőpark. The Oxigén-sétaút, in turn, starts at the upper station of the Lillafüredi Libegő. Its name refers to Lillafüred’s role as a climatic health resort.

The chairlift carries passengers over a distance of one kilometer between Lillafüred and Jávorhegy, which rises above the resort area belonging to Miskolc. This is a separate ride distance and should not be confused with the length of a hiking trail.

The Anna Cave is a publicly accessible tufa cave. Its chambers formed through the arching of waterfalls; moss, pine needles and tangled roots shape the appearance of its walls and ceilings. The Szent István Cave is different: a 170-meter-long section has been opened to visitors.
