Culture and history

The Páduai Szent Antal Templom stands in the center of Üllés. The Páduai Szent Antal Templom was consecrated in 1900 in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua; the new Páduai Szent Antal Templom was consecrated on April 1, 2001.

The present-day Alkotóház in Üllés was established in 2000. The roots of the Alkotóház go back to the opening of the former cultural center in 1962. The Alkotóház is dedicated to preserving folk art traditions.

The Üllési Horgásztó is located northwest of the center of Üllés, next to the road toward Kiskunhalas. The surroundings of the Üllési Horgásztó are well maintained and designed like a park, making them suitable for leisure activities such as barbecuing and cooking in a cauldron. A fishing competition is traditionally held every year around the Üllési Horgásztó.
