History

The archaeological remains of Marhádvár I and II are located about 5 km south of Parád. They lie at opposite ends of a mountain ridge and are approximately 175 metres apart. The two remains therefore provide a specific point of reference for travellers interested in regional history.

Marhádvár I and II occupy the two ends of the Marhád Ridge; the summit of this ridge is recorded at 603.3 metres above sea level.
