The white Evangelical Reformed church rises above Bonnya. It is the village’s only church and was built in 1883. A chapel for Roman Catholic worshippers was set up in a former school building. A small bell tower stands in front of the towerless chapel; on one corner of the building is the Vida Cross, a white stone cross with three female figures at its base.
A wooden altar is also among Bonnya’s religious features. Its street-facing side is decorated with intricate carvings, and two female figures stand on its base. The figures differ from those at the Vida Cross: there are three there and two at the wooden altar. From the center of Bonnya, the Bödő–Takács Cross is about half a kilometer along the road, beyond the wooden altar. It was erected in 1909.
