Andzeļi at Lake Ežezers

The municipality of Andzeļi is located in Rāzna National Park, which is designated as a Natura 2000 site. Lake Ežezers has 35 islands and 70 island or shoal formations, and covers a total area of 77.6 hectares. The many islands and shoals give the lake a highly irregular shape. In November 2006, Lake Ežezers was incorporated into Rāzna National Park.
