The Mores kauju muzejs is a suitable central starting point for exploring the history of the Battles of More. The indoor exhibition focuses on the Battles of More in the Second World War, as well as household and handicraft items from the 19th and 20th centuries. The most notable exhibit outdoors is a T-34 tank of the Soviet Army. The open-air exhibition also includes a German above-ground bunker and various objects found on the battlefield.
The Mores kauju piemiņas parks was established in the centre of More at a former battle site. A memorial plaque engraved in granite bears the names of 186 soldiers who fell or went missing in the Battles of More. The park therefore has a different focus from the museum exhibition: here, the emphasis is on commemorating those affected.
Other historical sites include the LatvieÅ¡u leÄ£ionÄru brÄļu kapi cemetery near the RoznÄ“nu ozols oak on the Sigulda–More road in the Mores pagasts and the Red Army military cemetery in More. The LatvieÅ¡u leÄ£ionÄru brÄļu kapi cemetery commemorates 117 soldiers who fell in the Battles of More from 25 September to 6 October 1944. The Red Army military cemetery in More is the final resting place of around 2,000 soldiers who fell during the Battle of More. It was landscaped in 1974 and received a monument by the sculptor B. GrÄ«sle.
