Culture

Dubingiai is closely associated with the Radvila family. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the family had a palace and an Evangelical Reformed church here. The history of the Radvila family therefore provides a tangible point of reference for visitors interested in cultural history.

History

Before 1430, a Catholic church was founded at the site of the Dubingiai hillfort; its foundation is attributed to Grand Duke Vytautas.

The church built in the first half of the 19th century was destroyed in a major fire in 1954, while the parish house survived.
