Ujście

Ujście lies where the Gwda flows into the Noteć. In the center, south of the market square, is the church complex with the parish church of St. Nicholas. The boundary between the Noteć Valley and the Chodzież Upland runs through Ujście. Here, the upland forms a high escarpment cut by long ravines. Kalwaria Ujska is also associated with natural value and was entered in the register of monuments in 1997.

From the observation tower in Osiedle Górne, you can look out over the Pradolina and the lower-lying town. The tower stands on the edge of the Toruń-Eberswalde Pradolina. The geographical classification of the town and municipality of Ujście is different: they are part of this Pradolina. The viewpoint and the surrounding landscape therefore offer a clear point of reference for travelers who want to take in the town’s setting as well as its sacred buildings.

There is a marina on the banks of the Noteć in Ujście. Five kayaks and five bicycles are available to rent there. A 145-kilometer kayaking route from Drężno via Piła ends in Ujście. This makes the town interesting for travelers considering a longer kayaking route or wanting to connect their stay with the river. The distance refers to the full route, not to the length of an excursion starting from the marina.
