Powidz Landscape Park is known for its lake district, with clear ribbon lakes surrounded by forests and beaches. Lake Powidzkie lies on the border between the municipalities of Powidz and Ostrowite and is part of the park. Three hiking trails and eleven cycling routes run through the park. Nadwarciański Landscape Park also extends across the municipalities of Lądek and Zagórów within the county.

Its stained-glass windows commemorate the victims of the Second World War; one depicts the martyr Maximilian Kolbe. There is also a bronze plaque bearing symbols of the uprising.

Another trace of history can be found on Dębowy Ostrów in Lake Ostrowite, also known as Ostrowickie: there are remains of a fortified settlement belonging to the Lusatian culture.
