A viewing terrace beside the road bridge in Wyszków offers a place to look out over the Bug River. The town lies on both sides of the river, and the terrace provides a specific viewpoint.

At the edge of the riverside promenade begins the Dolina Dolnego Bugu Natura 2000 Special Protection Area for birds and, at the same time, the Ostoja Nadbużańska Natura 2000 Special Area of Conservation. The park brings together traces of several historical periods. In the second half of the 16th century, a manor house stood there, one of the residences of the Bishops of Płock. Bishop Karol Ferdynand Waza particularly enjoyed staying there and died there. The present-day park was laid out later, in the second half of the 19th century, as the property of the Tsarist official Sołowiow, on the site of a former estate belonging to the Bishops of Płock.

Its visible features include 19 old trees and the Park Guardhouse, a Neo-Gothic building from the mid-19th century. Two of the trees are listed in the register of monuments. The park paths are laid out so that local residents can stroll and relax there. The park covers about 10 hectares.

The Wyszków salt graduation tower is also located in the historic city park.

The brick St. Giles’ Church in Wyszków was built between 1793 and 1795. Its three-nave design recalls the classicist Stanisław style and colonnades inspired by Palladio. In 1962, the church was recognized as a monument and entered in the register of monuments. Another historic monument is the Baroque Waza Obelisk. It was erected after 1655 to a design by Giovanni Babtysta Gisleni and funded by King Jan Kazimierz in memory of his brother, Karol Ferdynand Waza, Bishop of Płock. The obelisk is made of local grey marble. Its base bears the royal Waza coat of arms, featuring a crowned sheaf of grain; a sphere topped with a double-barred cross sits at its peak.
