Măgura: Culture, Adventure Park and Designated Route

Culture

The village of Măgura is home to the Sfântul Nicolae Church, built in 1786 and listed as a historic monument under classification code BC-II-m-B-00853. It follows the Moldavian architectural type and has a cloverleaf-shaped floor plan, side apses on three sides and a five-sided altar apse. The architectural design also includes a rectangular vestibule and a bell tower above it.

Also located in Măgura is Conacul Rosetti-Brăescu, a historic building dating from 1904 with classification code BC-II-m-B-00854. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century by Emil Brăescu and his wife Elena Brăescu on their estate in Măgura. The manor house features neoclassical architectural and decorative elements.

The archaeological site Situl arheologic de la Măgura - Dealul Pichiu is also located in the village of Măgura, on the right bank of the Negel stream.

The years serve as a chronological reference; the architectural forms provide a second basis for comparison. When choosing your own themes, you can consider religious architecture, the manor house, the archaeological site, museums and the monument as separate cultural focal points. Those planning around different interests can weigh these types of places individually: architectural history, archaeology, museums and monuments provide different points of reference from the park, loop trail and landscape.
