Culture and History

The Bădeana-Lot 1-5 (Valea Ţaga) archaeological settlement lies at the foot of Valea Ţaga, on the left side of DN 24, at kilometer 58+500 and 10 meters from the road.

The Bădeana-Lot 1-7 archaeological settlement lies on the left side of DN 24, at kilometer 58+600 and 1 kilometer from the village of Bădeana. Ceramic fragments were found at this settlement on agriculturally used land.

The Bădeana-Lot 1-8 archaeological settlement lies 2 kilometers north of the village of Bădeana on the right side of the road, between the road and the railway line, at kilometer 61+700. A settlement from the Migration Period, dated to the 3rd to 4th century, as well as ceramic fragments, have been documented there.

The village of Tutova was first documented on September 19, 1436.
