The morning of this day brought another tragedy in Russia's capital. Within one hour in result of two suicide bombers in the Moscow subway were killed 37 and injured more than 100 people. Two explosions that took the lives of Russian citizens occurred at the stations of "Lubyanka" and "Park Kultury".

The first explosion occurred at the Sokolniki metro line at the "Lubyanka" station shortly before 8 am at a time when the majority of unsuspecting citizens were going to work. Suicide bomber with in a "suicide belt" with explosives and submunitions blew herself up killing innocent civilians. The explosive mechanism was activated at the moment when the famous Moscow metro train "Red Arrow", coming towards the station "Pure Ponds", opened the door. As a result of a terrorist act occurred in the second wagon train were killed 14 people. The explosion also killed 11 people on the platform of the "Lubyanka" station.

The second explosion also at Sokolniki line occurred about forty minutes later at the "Park Kultury" station not far from the famous places of recreation and entertainment - Gorky Park. The attack was planned on a similar scenario: a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in the train that started to move from the "Park Kultury" station in the direction of the "South-Western" station. As a result, the second terrorist attack killed 12 people. In the hospitals were hospitalized 62 people with serious injuries.

According to the press service of the Moscow subway there was found the third unexploded "suicide belt". In connection with terrorist attack occurred in the Moscow subway have increased security measures and an investigation was initiated. Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev said: "We will continue operations against terrorists without hesitation until success will be reached".
