Tropoja: Valbona Valley, Hiking Trails and Vibrant Culture

In the vicinity of Tropoja lies Rosuja Fortress, northwest of the village of Bujan. It is an Illyrian settlement whose origins date back to the Early Iron Age.

Tropoja’s traditional cuisine is based primarily on livestock products, especially meat and dairy products. Characteristic dishes include Qervishi, Flia, Pitja, Laknuri, Kacamaku and Qeshkeku.
