The Museum of History of Gyumri houses more than 6,000 historical exhibits and presents the city’s heritage in the fields of jewelry, silversmithing, theater, photography, and music.

The Black Fortress was built between 1834 and 1847 as a Russian imperial defensive installation. Due to its acoustics, it is used as a cultural venue and concert hall.

Gyumri’s current railway station building was constructed in the 1970s and is described as an example of Soviet-Armenian modernist architecture.
