Dilijan: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture

The Dilijan Local Lore Museum and Art Gallery is included in Dilijan's list of immovable historical and cultural monuments. The museum displays more than 1,017 archaeological exhibits, as well as ethnographic exhibits, applied art, graphic works, paintings, sculptures, coins, and old literature. The collection also includes archaeological finds, manuscripts, and ethnographic objects; traditional paintings, sculptures, and contemporary installations are on display.

Sharambeyan Street is a pedestrian avenue with traditional Armenian architecture, craft shops, and art galleries. Buildings from the 19th century have been preserved there. The street also has workshops and shops run by artisans from Dilijan. Visitors can learn traditional crafts in workshops.

The Museum of Folk Art on Getapya Street presents local art and handicrafts. The Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex includes a museum, hotels, bakeries, cafés, craft shops, and workshops.

Nature

The city park in the center of Dilijan has a small pond, walking paths, trees, and green spaces. Verev Rope Park is a wooded destination for outdoor adventures and features high-rope obstacle courses of varying difficulty levels.

Getting Around

The Dilijan Information Center provides information about hiking trails, rents out bicycles and scooters, and sells maps. A marked hiking trail connects Lake Gosh with Lake Parz and continues to Dilijan. Lake Parz offers pedal boats, a restaurant, and zip lines and can be reached via a paved road or on foot along a hiking trail.
