Yerevan’s Urartian heritage includes Erebuni, Karmir Blur, and the Biainian Tomb. Erebuni is a fortified city founded by Argishti I on the southeastern outskirts of Yerevan. The Biainian Tomb is the only known monumental Urartian tomb in the Caucasus region.

The official Yerevan City Tour lasts 90 minutes and introduces visitors to the city’s history, culture, architecture, monuments, and sights. It starts and ends at France Square. Open-top double-decker buses are used for the tour; the guides work in Armenian, English, and Russian. The buses are accessible to people with disabilities.
