The stone Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Logoysk was consecrated on September 24, 1866 (September 11 according to the old style) and is an architectural monument.
Daily services are held in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. It has two altars; the Nicholas altar is decorated with depictions of the Apocalypse and the Last Supper, and among the numerous icons are all Belarusian saints.
The Logoysk Historical and Local History Museum has three halls: “Events and People,” a hall dedicated to the Counts Tyszkiewicz, and an exhibition hall. It is housed in the city’s cultural center building.
The new Catholic Church of St. Casimir in Logoysk was consecrated on October 20, 1793, in the Classical style.
History
The remains of the Tyszkiewicz Palace can be seen in Logoysk Landscape Park. The palace was an architectural monument of late Classicism and was destroyed during the Second World War.
Objects from an extensive museum collection were displayed in two large, elongated halls of the Tyszkiewicz Palace in Logoysk.
Nature
The Tyszkiewicz Park in Logoysk was created by Piy Tyszkiewicz between 1814 and 1819, at the same time as the palace was being built. The park stretches for 700 meters along the right bank of the Gaina.
In Tyszkiewicz Park, a path follows the wooded rampart and offers views of the surrounding area.
Leisure
The “Logoysk” Sports and Recreation Center was described as offering winter activities such as ski and snowboard slopes of varying difficulty, a ski school, equipment rental, and snow tubing, as well as summer activities such as a high ropes course, cable car rides, beach and water park facilities, wakeboarding, and fishing; following an announcement about its last day of operation, its current operating status is uncertain.
