Dimitrovgrad Poetry Days take place every two years at the beginning of May. The Penyo Penov National Literature Prize is awarded during the poetry celebrations. Public access to the Giordano Bruno Observatory is free of charge.

Geographical setting

Near Kasnakovo in the Municipality of Dimitrovgrad lies the Sanctuary of the Nymphs and Aphrodite. It dates from the 2nd to the 4th century and was part of a Roman country estate. The sanctuary is a cultural monument of national importance. It has a paved access road, a tourist information centre, parking spaces and rest areas.
