The villagers received approval from the governor in Sevlievo to build the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael. The Historic Stone Bridge over the Vidima River has survived from the period of the Bulgarian National Revival; it was built in 1872. Local residents provided the funds for its construction. It was intended to connect Old Skandaloto and New Skandaloto.
