Zlatna Panega: Hotels and Accommodations

The Zlatna Panega Springs consist of a larger eastern pool and a smaller western pool. In the surrounding area of Zlatna Panega are Gradeshnishka Peshtera and Temnata Dupka; Orlovets lies in the wider regional vicinity of Zlatna Panega.

Culture

Near the larger Panega Spring, archaeologists found evidence of a Roman outpost. A stone tablet depicting Asclepius, Hygeia, and Telesphorus was found at the Upper Springs.

The Sanctuary of Asclepius stands immediately next to the Glava Panega spring. Remains of an ancient Roman sanctuary can also be found near the Glava Panega spring.

Walking Trail

The Iskar-Panega Ecopath is located in Zlatna Panega and is connected to the Glava Panega karst spring. At the beginning of the Iskar-Panega Ecopath, there is a parking lot, a caravan serving food and drinks, benches, a fountain, and information boards. The trail is described as an easy walking route suitable for all age groups and dogs.
