A route leads from Bosnek along the Dobri dol toward Borova Polyana and branches off to the Zhivata Voda cave system. Dobri dol, a wooded valley in the southwestern part of Vitosha, is located near Bosnek.

A marked hiking route leads from Bosnek to Mecha Cheshma; the route takes about three hours. The section from Bosnek to Zhivata Voda is described as easy and suitable for children. The Bosnek–Mecha Cheshma route ends at a shelter and a water fountain beside meadows suitable for resting and picnics.

The Bosnek–Gorna Dikanja route takes two hours and offers an approach toward Verila. A longer hiking trail from Bosnek leads via Zhivata Voda and Aslanov Rid to Chuipetlovo; it is stated to take approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Nature

Duhlata Cave is a complex, six-level cave system formed by underground rivers of the Struma. In the karst area around Bosnek and Chuipetlovo, there are more than 30 known caves and chasms.

The Zhivata Voda spring can temporarily stop and resume its flow depending on groundwater conditions. The karst spring is located near Bosnek, 5 km north of the village, among old trees. Vreloto is a water-bearing, multilevel cave in the karst region of Bosnek.

Culture

Above Bosnek stands a medieval fortress classified as an archaeological monument of local significance. An ancient settlement in the center of Bosnek is also classified as an archaeological monument of local significance.

The Church of St Theodore Stratilat in Bosnek is classified as an architectural monument.

Near Bosnek lies a Thracian fortress made of rough stones. Its walls are 1.5 to 2 meters thick, and it contains a sanctuary associated with sun worship.
