The new Church of the Holy Archangel Michael stands in Liulin. Its construction began in 2001 through the voluntary work and donations of local residents; it was consecrated on June 4, 2016. It stands near Liulin’s oldest church, which collapsed in the 1970s following an active landslide.
The fourth national folklore festival “Liulin Sings and Dances” was scheduled for June 20 and 21, 2026, in front of the community center in Liulin. A local Surva celebration in Liulin was ritually opened in the square in front of the Hristo Botev Community Center.
The war memorial in Liulin commemorates the residents of Railovo and Tsarnel who lost their lives in the Balkan Wars, the Allied War, and the First and Second World Wars.
Horse competitions were scheduled for Todorov Saturday in the Manastir tract below the Monastery of St. Nicholas near Liulin.
Landscape
The approaches to the Lyulin Mountains pass through Liulin. Railovsko Gradishte lies on the highest peak in the western part of the Lyulin Mountains, covers 42 decares, and features ramparts, ditches, walls, and rubble. From there, there are views toward the fields of Sofia and Pernik.
The route to Kryvi Kamak from Liulin is described as approximately 2.3 km one way. The route to Krivi Kamak begins on the outskirts of Liulin.
