Hiking and nature

The “Water Route” runs above the Korana Canyon between Old Town Drežnik and Korana Campsite. It is a 4.5-kilometre educational trail with dirt and gravel surfaces and includes viewpoints overlooking the canyon of the Korana River. The mill is a highlight of the “Water Route”.

The Mlinica trail is accessible from Čatrnja and offers a hike along the canyon of the Korana River. The Rakovica Tourist Board has provided information boards and signposts for the Mlinica trail.

Culture

Mlin na Korani in Čatrnja is listed as an economic building with heritage status E. A horse-riding route leads to Čatrnja’s deep, stone-lined well.

Cycling

Čatrnja is located on the 27.9-kilometre R35 Selište Drežničko–Čatrnja–Irinovac cycling route, which has an elevation gain of 102 m. From the centre of Čatrnja, the route continues towards Drežnik Grad.

The approach to Čatrnja on the R35 uses the D1 state road, a sidewalk, paved sections and shorter gravel sections. The route is described as fairly challenging and characterised as a route requiring good fitness and a steady pace.
