Santalezi is part of two official cycling routes. Official cycling route 442, “Tragom rudara i kamenih skulptura” (“In the Footsteps of Miners and Stone Sculptures”), runs via Nedešćina–Štrmac–Vinež–Tomažići–Cere–Santalezi–Nedešćina. Official cycling route 443, “Stazom Svetog Martin / Baronova staza” (“St. Martin’s Trail / Baron’s Trail”), forms a loop through the villages and hamlets of the Sveta Nedelja area and includes Santalezi.

The Sveta Nedelja tourist area promotes three cycling trails that combine natural and cultural heritage with local food and wine. These include routes that pass through Santalezi.

Nature and Trails

In Sveta Nedelja, the Šumberske Dine hiking trail runs through marl dunes. It connects geological features, local farms, and a relatively unspoiled landscape; its published length is 7.3 km.

Culture

The wider regional surroundings of Santalezi include Dvigrad Castle, Vižače, the Soardo-Bembo Palace, and “Maiden With The Seagull,” a statue by Zvonko Car.

In the Labinština mining area, the Boksitna Pruga hiking trail follows a former bauxite railway. Farma Drijade is located in this area and offers encounters with animals by prior arrangement.
