The Chapel of St. Michael in Zbičina bears the cultural heritage register number Z-1851 and is classified as a protected immovable individual cultural asset. Zbičina is also listed in a municipal overview of settlements associated with sacral buildings from the 6th to the 15th century.

Landscape

Below Zbičina lies the deep Dolci Valley; above it rises the steep, wooded Komunada hill. The view extends north and east toward Valun Bay, Veli verh, and Perska. Nearby panoramic viewpoints offer views of Lake Vrana. Access to Lake Vrana is strictly prohibited in the vicinity of Zbičina because the lake is the only source of drinking water for both islands.

Zbičina is located at a crossroads of old paths to Lubenice, Pernat, Podol, and Valun. The gravel cycling route from Cres Marina to Valun starts at Cres Marina and initially follows the Cres water pipeline. It reaches the higher-elevation villages of Pernat, Podol, Zbičina, and Lubenice. From Cres Marina, Zbičina can be reached via Valun and the villages above Valun on a gravel cycling route; the route to Valun is approximately 15 km long.
