Gamboci is associated with the complex Ruralna cjelina Gamboci. It is classified as one of the immovable cultural heritage complexes in the area.

Culture and Heritage

Ruralna cjelina Gamboci has also been identified as a building complex. A total of 453 names of wild-growing and cultivated plants are associated with the Buje area, including Gamboci. These names were collected orally from local residents in the Venetian-Julian dialect.

RUPA in Gamboci is designated as an open-air sports shooting range covering an area of 1.06 hectares.

Cycling Routes and Landscape

Around 80 kilometres of the Parenzana are used for sports, recreation and tourism in the Buje area. The Umag–Savudrija–Kaldanija cycling route branches off towards Gamboci and then continues to Umag. It runs through olive groves and agricultural fields.

Regional Connections

Istria Wine and Walk was described as an eleven-kilometre wine road event that starts and ends in Buje and brings together seven to nine Istrian winemakers.

In 2017, Gamboci had nine rooms and 22 beds. Gamboci was also listed as one of the settlements for which a relative increase in tourist arrivals was recorded in 2018 compared with 2017.
