Gračišće: Hotels and Accommodation

When planning a trip with the aim of booking a hotel in Gračišće, the town itself is the first focus. The medieval fortifications include a Romanesque town gate on the western side and a round Renaissance tower dating from 1500. Culture

The Chapel of Saint Anthony was built in 1381 and restored in 1486 as part of the residence of the bishops of Pićan. It houses the Gračaško Kruzifix from the 13th century; it also contains Glagolitic graffiti from the 15th and 16th centuries.

Pod Fumiju Street retains its original appearance as Gračišće’s historic artisans’ street. A blacksmith’s house there features a carved hammer and the year 1451 on the door lintel.
