Žnjidarići: Hotels and Accommodation

Žnjidarići is a named stop on the official 34 km-long Aphrodisiac Trail cycling route. The route includes 27.2 km of macadam, is classified as difficult, and reaches the settlement via a 4.5 km climb from Istarske toplice. The official Aphrodisiac Trail continues from Žnjidarići via Poli, Medici, Vižintini and Laganiši to Sv. Lucija.

Routes

The official From Spring to Spring trail passes through Žnjidarići on its Zrenj loop. From there, it continues along an unpaved path to Čabrnica before returning to Zrenj.

Trail 261 Toplice–Oprtalj–Toplice is a 14.1 km route of moderate difficulty with a duration of 3 to 4 hours. After Vižintini, it turns east towards Žnjidarići and meets the road to Istarske toplice at a bend next to Žnjidarići. Trail 261 also offers a detour to the galleries of the old quarry. The Istrian mountain trail (IPP) can be extended via an unmarked descent through Žnjidarići to Istarske toplice.

Nature

Istarske toplice is located nearby, a spa in the Mirna Valley with thermal springs that have been known since antiquity. The spring of Saint Stephen emerges there below an 85-metre-high rock. The ruins of an old church of Saint Stephen stand on the rock above the spring. In the wooded area of Istarske toplice, truffle hunters can be seen searching for truffles in autumn.
