History and culture

The Parenzana is a restored section of the historic railway line that connected Poreč with Trieste. From Vižintini, the Antonci Viaduct along the Parenzana is approximately 500 metres away. From the hamlet of Krti in Antonci, the Antonci Viaduct along the route is approximately 700 metres away.

Urn graves and an ancient archaeological site have been designated for the locality of Radovac in Antonci. Dugača near Antonci is designated as an archaeological site.

Nature

The section of the Parenzana at the hamlet of Krti in Antonci passes through coniferous forest in places. The Parenzana route features scenic views, stone viaducts and preserved tunnels with environmentally friendly lighting.

Transport

On 8 June 2026, maintenance and repair work on gravel roads as well as footpaths and cycle paths was underway in Antonci and several other settlements. The stated aim was to improve mobility for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.
