Culture

The Heritage Walk in Mugeba 2026 began at the Društveni dom in Mugeba. The programme of the Poreč Heritage Museum 2026 introduced participants to the cultural and historical heritage around Mugeba.

Mugeba–Martin Vrh is a hillfort dating from the Eneolithic to the Early Bronze Age. The cultural heritage site of St Michael the Archangel in Mugeba dates to the 16th century and the period thereafter. Near Mugeba, archaeological investigations in Pudarica, on the road from Poreč towards Dračevac and Mugeba, identified a well-preserved early Christian church of Saint Peter; its oldest layer dates to the 6th century.

The Feast of Saint Michael is traditionally celebrated in Mugeba and includes a Mass and a communal gathering.

Wine

At Vinarija Perun, visitors can taste Perun wines. The Perun vineyard is located in Mugeba, about 800 metres from the sea.
