The Šumberske Dine walking trail passes through a distinctive area of marl dunes in the heart of the municipality. Over its 7.3 kilometres, it connects natural phenomena, local family-run businesses and unspoilt nature. This walk therefore offers views of both the landscape and local businesses. Its length is a useful guide when planning how much time to set aside for an outing.

Kalića i Bukalete also brings together different aspects of the region: the route passes through Istria’s wine country and scenic vineyards, takes in several ponds that are important for freshwater habitats, and connects with traditional Istrian cuisine. The Boksitna pruga walking trail has a historical connection. It follows the route of a former bauxite railway used during the mining period in Labinština.

Three cycling routes in the municipality combine natural and cultural heritage with local food and wine. Two circular routes are described in more detail. Cycling Route 441, “Staza Plemića i Kalića”, starts in Nedešćina and passes through Jurazini, Eržišće, Blaškovići, Radovići, Šumber and Grašići before returning to Nedešćina.

Cycling Route 442 is called “Tragom rudara i kamenih skulptura”. It is also a circular route starting from Nedešćina; its stops are Štrmac, Vinež, Tomažići, Cere and Santalezi, before the route returns to Nedešćina. The listed sequences of places provide specific guidance for choosing a route, without implying anything about its length or difficulty.

Since 1970, the International Sculpture Symposium has added to the collection of sculptures made from Istrian stone at the Dubrova Sculpture Park year after year. A walking trail in the park is Bijela cesta, or the White Road. It consists of 16 sections, each 25 metres long. On your walk, you can focus on the sculptures and a specially designed path.

The park is also home to the Dolac Amphitheatre. It serves as a venue for art performances, concerts, theatre and other events for visitors. Admission to the sculpture park is free. Organised tours for groups are available by prior arrangement. If you are planning a tour, remember to book in advance.

Agroturizam Cerovac in Eržišće serves traditional Istrian dishes, including chicken šugo and beef šugo with seasonal vegetables. If you would like to include regional cuisine in your travel plans, these are specific examples of dishes available in the municipality.

The Tomažići restaurant serves food and drinks and offers rooms with breakfast, as well as a wine bar. The rooms with breakfast are a specific accommodation option in the municipality. A prior arrangement is required for a visit to Farma Drijade, where visitors can encounter various animals.

The municipal day is celebrated on 16 October under the local name “na šesnajs otobra”. This is distinct from the date’s historical significance in Nedešćina: 16 October was the day of a widely known livestock market there.
