Hiking Trails and Mountain Landscape

The Trebišća-Perun Trail is a 15-kilometre hiking route with an estimated duration of seven hours. Its starting point is near Sveti Petar in Mošćenička Draga. The route passes through preserved hamlets in Potoška vala and reaches the 880-metre-high summit of Perun.

Mošćenička Draga also offers routes for forest walks, hikes and runs, as well as kayaking to explore the coast and cycling in the surrounding countryside.

Coast and Underwater World

The beach continues south towards St. Ivan Beach. Senjavac is a nudist beach immediately after St. Ivan Beach.

The Pod zvoni snorkelling area extends along the northern side of the bay, from the shallows below a partially open cave to the cape. It can be reached by sailing south from Mošćenička Draga. Pod zvoni is home to a colony of the strictly protected orange star coral Astroides calycularus.

History and Harbour

The old town of Dražanski is a typical fishing settlement that developed at the end of the 19th century. It includes a small harbour with fishing boats, smaller boats and a seasonal marina for tourist boats.

Mošćenička Draga developed as a fishing harbour. Surviving records already mention a settlement at the harbour of Sv. Marina in 1436.
