Below Zagorje lies Stupova. Stupova is listed as a natural beach 30 meters long and covering an area of 600 square meters. The beach can be reached via a narrow path from Velo selo; Stupova can also be reached by boat from Pod Brseč in the direction of Plomin. Sisol can be reached from Zagore via a forest road.

Nearby is the 15-kilometer-long mythical-historical Trebišća–Perun Trail within Učka Nature Park. It leads as a full-day hike through preserved hamlets to the 880-meter-high summit of Perun. Thirteen information panels explain Slavic mythology and the arrival of the early Slavs. The Sveta Jelena–Zagore route is classified as a mountain biking route and is 23.6 kilometers long. Culture and Townscape

Zagore is a protected ethnographic zone. The rural ensemble of Zagore–Brseč is designated as a cultural-historical unit. It includes the hamlets of Zagorje, Stepča, Franeli, Krsonji, and Ivaniši. The ensemble's traditional buildings include stone agricultural structures, covered terraces, and semicircular fireplaces.

Brseč is located near Zagore; within the municipality encompassing Zagore, the settlement is classified as a protected cultural-historical unit. The hamlet of Zagore is home to the gallery and studio of Ljubo de Karina, whose local tourist office recommends visiting them. Alongside the sculptor's family home, the gallery and studio form an architectural and artistic complex. The complex displays works in progress and monumental stone sculptures. Sculptures by Ljubo de Karina are installed in public spaces in Croatia and abroad.
