Oprič: Hotels and Accommodation
A traditional footpath to Opric above Ika is still marked and forms part of the historic footpath network in the Opatija area. Opric is also located along the trails of Učka Nature Park.

The route known as “Oprič road” is described as a 1.5-kilometre multi-purpose trail for mountain biking, e-biking, hiking and trail running. As a paved route, Oprič road can be used in both directions.
During the programme periods in spring and autumn, Nordic walking sessions on Opatija’s historic trails were scheduled for Saturdays.

The “Maiden With The Seagull” statue by Zvonko Car is located near Opric. Veprinac vrh is also near Opric. Vetveni Vrh, Voljačić and Grnjac are likewise each located near Opric.
Trsatska Gradina is located in the vicinity of Opric. Sveti Frančisk and Župna crkva Navještenja Blažene Djevice Marije are located near Opric.
History
In the area around Opric, Ika became the most important port in the northwestern Kvarner in the 18th century and increasingly turned to shipbuilding.
At the annual “Vino i vruja” event in Ika, wine matures in a submerged karst spring at a depth of 20 metres. On the second day of “Vino i vruja”, the programme includes a tasting of the previously submerged wine and a regatta of traditional boats.
As the port and shipbuilding developed in Ika, the residents who lived on the slopes above Ika increasingly moved down from Opric towards the sea.
