Marinići: Hotels and Accommodation

The “Tragom Halubajskih zvončara” route passes through Marinići and Trtne on its way to Ronjgi. The route combines asphalt, gravel, and forest roads. For some visitors, planning a trip also includes booking a hotel in Marinići.

Culture

Dom u Marinićima is a public multipurpose building. Historically, it served as a social and cultural centre and provides a foundation for cultural, social, and event activities.

Središnja knjižnica Marinići opened on the ground floor of Dom Marinići in 2003. It holds collections for adults, children, and young people, a newspaper and magazine reading room, and a study and work area. The library also organises workshops, book presentations, exhibitions, and theatre performances.

Limena glazba “Marinići” has operated under its current name since 1993. During the tourist season, it performs at coastal and island destinations from Istria and Kvarner to Dalmatia.

Events

During the Carnival season, the Ženski maškarani boćarski turnir is traditionally held at the Marinići bocce hall. Masked teams from Viškovo and the surrounding area come together for the tournament.

The traditional Viškovo Carnival programme also includes the Pusni concert by Limena glazba Marinići, which welcomes visitors of all generations.
