The Novalja Field is described as a green oasis with diverse vegetation, a Mediterranean landscape, and abundant wildlife. The Novalja Field Walking Trail passes through the area as a circular route from the Church of Saint Anthony through the Novalja Field and back. The route is 4.9 kilometers long and is classified as easy in terms of terrain and fitness requirements.

Coast

Novalja's town beach is located on the southern edge of Novalja Bay. It is pebbly, shallow, and warm and has a large green belt.

Connections

A passenger catamaran connects Novalja with Rab and Rijeka. The Prizna–Žigljen ferry also provides a connection to the Croatian mainland.
