In Turčin stands the Pil sv. Florijana wayside shrine, which was blessed on 4 May 2005. On 8 March 2025, an exhibition and sales market for handicrafts was held at the community center. It was organized by the Đurđice women’s association, with the participation of local women’s associations, the Likovna udruga Kula, and the Kneginja student cooperative.

In the municipality of Gornji Kneginec, the Ribnjaci OSTRIŽ fishponds offer opportunities for freshwater fishing, especially carp fishing and fishing according to the “catch and release” principle. The Ribnjaci OSTRIŽ fishponds also feature a landscaped promenade for walking.

Cycling and leisure

The Glinište off-road site of the Kneginec Off-Road Club is connected with Turčin and enables quad off-road rides on the site and on forest paths. The entire route of the Glinište off-road site is open for free riding and offers both a soft and a hard route.

The 18th Kneginečka biciklijada was an 18-kilometer recreational cycling tour that started at Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana in Turčin and ended at the fishponds of the “Ostriž Kneginec” sport fishing club. The Kneginečka biciklijada is traditionally organized by the sports community and the Municipality of Gornji Kneginec. At the Kneginečka biciklijada, recreational cyclists were provided with refreshments and a rest stop in Krč-Dugi vrh forest.
