Prvic Luka: Hotels and Accommodation

Prvić Luka is a village and small harbour on the southeast coast of the island of Prvić. The Šibenik–Zlarin–Prvić–Vodice boat line is described as a scenic experience through the Šibenik archipelago; the entire journey takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Culture

Prvić Luka developed around the monastery of the Glagolitic brothers of the Third Order, who settled there in 1461. After the brothers arrived in Prvić Luka, construction began on the Church of St. Mary, also known as Our Lady of Mercy, and its monastery; the work was still ongoing in 1479.

The Church of the Nativity, the Church of the Birth of Christ, is listed as a protected cultural asset under registration number Z-3326. It was built in 1479 by the Ambrozović family from Šibenik and is no longer in use today.

The exhibition at the Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre includes Homo Volans, that is, a flying human. The exhibition also includes a dictionary in five European languages, including the first printed dictionaries of the Croatian and Hungarian languages.

Coast

The bathing area in Prvić Luka is partially developed. Its surface consists mainly of concrete, while the rest is rocky. The bathing area is 400 metres long and 7 metres wide; the coastline is straight. It can be reached via a footpath and has no parking spaces.

Fešta u Prvić Luci is a recurring local event listed in the Vodice Tourist Board's event calendars for 2024, 2025 and 2026, where it is classified under folk traditions. The Sea Kayak Center Prvić Luka is located in Hotel Maestral and offers high-quality kayaks and equipment.
