Podaca: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture

The rural settlement of Podaca is listed as a cultural asset on the slopes of Biokovo. The Church of Saint John, dating from the 11th to 12th century, stands around the village square. Glagolitic graffiti was found inside it. The parish church of Saint Stephen dates from the 18th century.

The Podaca Tower is an irregular, two-storey structure built on a cliff. The rural settlement is characterised by residential and farm complexes belonging to former winegrowers, olive growers and livestock farmers.
