The Dicmo Field is a dry, flat karst field in the Dalmatian Zagora, in the hinterland of Split. It covers 35 km², is 15 km long, and up to 2.5 km wide. At its maximum width, the field is six times as long as it is wide. Its elevation ranges from 315 to 319 m. These measurements give a concrete sense of the field’s extent and low-lying position.

The Split–Sinj–Livno road (Bosnia and Herzegovina) runs through the field. The highest mountains and hills in the area around Dicmo include Mosor (1,339 m), Visoka (890 m), Grubuša (647 m), Radinje (763 m), and Gradina (587 m). This places the field’s low elevation alongside the higher landscape features surrounding it.

Rera railway station in Dicmo was built in 1902. The narrow-gauge Sinj–Split railway, which ran through Dicmo, operated from 12 September 1903 to 1962. On 30 July 2024, the theme park dedicated to historic routes and Rera railway station was officially opened in Dicmo; the park’s exhibits include a steam locomotive. The timeline therefore runs from the station’s construction, through the historic railway service, to the opening of the theme park.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Health, also known as Our Lady of Prisoje, was built in three phases at the end of the 17th century. Zeleni Park was established in the centre of the settlement of Kraj on 1,650 m² of public municipal land; it opened in October 2022. The two sites represent different facets of Dicmo: a historic religious site and a municipal park.

During the 2025 celebrations for Dicmo Municipality Day, the 14th folklore event, “Da se ne zaboravi,” was held. Dicmo is also investing in themed routes for active tourism, including the Tematska staza Prisoje. In Dicmo, the “Ustrajnost” section follows the former Rera railway line to a rest area and a checkpoint stamp beside a monument to civilian victims.
