In the area around Mala Milešina, Svilaja is described as a 30-kilometer-long karst mountain range in the Dalmatian Zagora, featuring sinkholes, karst pits, and caves. The highest southern peak, Bat, reaches 1,508 meters. A round-trip route to Svilaja starts at a junction of an asphalt road and a gravel road about 50 meters before the entrance to Mala Milešina. The route is approximately 16 kilometers long and takes about 5 hours and 27 minutes.

The first 6.7-kilometer section from Mala Milešina leads along a gravel road that is passable for all vehicles to a concrete livestock watering trough below the summit. There are no trail markers or directional signs along these first 6.7 kilometers; there is also no shade. The exposed route can be unpleasant in hot weather.

Muć has three MTB routes: Andetrij, measuring 23.3 kilometers with a stated elevation gain of 205 meters; Borovača, measuring 25.5 kilometers with 518 meters; and Zmina, measuring 47.5 kilometers with 752 meters.
