The Bobovac hillfort in Šestanovac dates back to the Bronze Age. Mandušića kula is described as a fortified tower house from the 15th century that served to defend a settlement.

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Katuni-Kreševo was rebuilt in 1722 on the site of an early Christian and medieval church. The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Grabovac stands beside the old Napoleon Road connecting Split and Vrgorac and was built around 1722 on the grounds of a medieval cemetery. Keeping vigil over Gospodinova groba in the parish of Radobilja is a local custom. This involves guarding a place representing Christ’s tomb.
