Culture

The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua in Dragljane is classified as a protected cultural asset and recognized as protected immovable cultural heritage. Its present form dates from 1821, after an older church had been extended in 1779. The building has a single nave and a rectangular apse.

Dragljane is documented in records from the mid-15th century as a settlement that can be considered a medieval site. The village's Sveti Ante celebration is dated to June 13. In 2012, an exhibition in Dragljane presented nearly 200 photographs and related documents about the events of 1942.

Landscape

Gradina–Pavića gradina lies at an elevation of 421 meters in a strategic position that controlled the surrounding roads and small karst valleys. Cold karst water from Mount Mihovil still reaches the well of Crnogošće.

Getting Around

Cycling routes from the Makarska coast and the Dalmatian hinterland run through the Crnogošće area along the Napoleon Road. The Crnogošće spring is located on the Napoleon Road at kilometer 49 of the D-62 state road, near the border with Kozica. A chapel dedicated to Saint Anthony was built near the Crnogošće fountain in Dragljane.
