Opatovice I: Hotels and Accommodation

On 14 May 2026, a restored wooden altar with an altarpiece was returned to the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity in Opatovice I. The origins of Opatovice are probably linked to the activities of the abbots of the nearby Sedlec Monastery, who were involved in the settlement of the region south of Kutná Hora in the 13th century. Traditional community events also include an Advent concert in the chapel.

New play equipment was installed for a children's playground beside Hanzlovy Pond. Fishing takes place regularly at Katovna Pond on Sundays from 8 to 11 a.m. The Katovna community pond also hosted a third children's fishing camp with fishing competitions.
