Petříkov: Hotels and accommodations

The bell tower in Petříkov was consecrated in 1913. It was restored in 2014 and supplemented with an image featuring a religious motif; at the same time, it is one of the municipality’s three historic monuments.

History and memorial sites

The Petříkov war memorial was moved to its current location in the park in the center of the village in 1962. The memorial lists a total of 16 residents from Petříkov and Radimovice who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars.

The iron cross in Petříkov stands on the right side of the road toward Radimovice. It depicts Christ as a young man and bears the inscription INRI.

According to local tradition, the embankments attributed to the former fortress are still visible in the Čertovka forest.

Nature and landscape

The municipal area of Petříkov borders the northern edge of the Velkopopovicko Nature Park. Starý rybník is one of the five ponds in the municipal area. The landscape includes fields, meadows, and extensive woodland.

Cycling routes and excursions

Local cycling route 0028 runs through Modletice, Popovičky, Radimovice, Petříkov, and Velké Popovice. A blue hiking route and cycling route 0028 through the park to Petříkov and Radimovice are used for a cycling excursion following in the footsteps of the Ringhoffer family.

Transport

Petříkov is connected to Prague’s integrated transport system PID by suburban bus services. Buses run from Petříkov to the nearby Strančice railway station throughout the day.
